2027 ENROLMENTS
Through a detailed and consultative process involving both parents and educators, our Marist Parent Partnership Strategy was developed to strengthen the connection between home and school. The strategy outlines how parents, carers and educators can work together in meaningful ways to support the growth, learning and wellbeing of every child.
Through partnerships within each of our three Learning Experiences – La Valla, Montagne and Champagnat – we aim to tailor opportunities that allow us to Connect, Engage and Inspire all members of our Marist learning community.
Our Partnership Team works collaboratively to establish opportunities throughout the year that strengthen community and create authentic engagement experiences for families. Parent Ambassadors play an important role in supporting initiatives, building connections and helping create a welcoming and vibrant community across the College.
Our Parent Partnership model welcomes involvement at many levels. Whether attending parent toolkits, volunteering your time to support an initiative, contributing ideas, or becoming a member of Parent Partnership, there are many ways to be involved. We warmly welcome parents and carers who may wish to join and become part of this important partnership, as every contribution — no matter how big or small — helps strengthen our community and enrich the experience of our students. For anyone interested in joining, please contact our Parent Partnership leader, Matt Shanahan, at: matthews@rmcg.com.au
As highlighted by Dr Karen Mapp (2013), over fifty years of research continues to affirm that when parents are actively engaged in their child’s learning journey, children experience stronger outcomes both academically and socially.
